Your perfect learning games
For 2 or more players
First take one Black Flag card from the deck, then shuffle and deal the rest. Each person should match as many flags as possible with the cards they have and set the matching pairs aside. A player then offers a fan of face-down cards to the person on their left, who selects one card and checks for a matching pair in their own hand. The player either matches it and sets the pair aside or, in the case of no matching pair, adds the card to their hand. Play continues clockwise in this manner, with players dropping out when they have no cards left. The player left holding the Black Flag card loses the game.
For 2 or more players
Shuffle cards and place the pile face down on the table, one person draws and states the meaning of the flag from the red bubble. Whoever names the flag first takes the card, each player is limited to one guess. If all players answer incorrectly the person who read the meaning takes it for themselves. Then the next player draws. The person with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
P.S: For a shorter game halve the deck for no repetitions!
For 1 or more players
Shuffle the cards and lay them all face down in rows on the table. The first player turns over any two cards. If the flags match, the player keeps the cards and tries again for another match. Otherwise, the cards are faced down again and the next player tries. When all the cards have been matched, the players count their flags. The one with the most flags is the winner.
The trick is to remember the placement of the cards no matter who turned them over.
If you play solo, you don’t have to remove matching pairs during the game. Set up a stopwatch to see how long it takes you to match all the flags, or simply count the number of turns.
